Christmas DIY Wreath

Well my home is completely decorated for Christmas. I absolutely Love Christmas time, but I'm bothered at how quickly it come and goes! So this year I decided to decorate early, being able to enjoy my decor for a little while longer! Those who know me, know I love sparkle and enjoy incorporating it as much as possible during Christmas time. This year I chose the colors Espresso, Cream, Warm Gold, and Silver for my decor. I couldn't find a wreath to match my tree, so I came up with a DIY project. I t was quite easy and inexpensive. I purchased the wreath at HomeGoods. Wire cutters, glue gun, glues sticks, and accessories for the Wreath were purchased at Michaels Arts & Crafts.

Outdoor Fun!

I love when it's warm and sunny outside. Unfortunately the only thing warm around here is the inside of my house! Well I have a theory : If you build it, it will come! OK, I know I'm not Kevin Costner....but I'm going to create it anyway! I Plan to create an fabulous outdoor fun area for my son. Pottery Barn Kids has the cutest table and bench set, on sale might I add. Also they have a great beach ball sprinkler. As soon as I get it all set up , and with a little prayer for some warm sun shining weather.....I'll have an outdoor play date for my son and his friends!

Sex in the City II and Sensible Fashion

My husband decided to surprise me with 2 tickets to SATC at Bridgeport Village! I was super excited, and my girlfriend Holly was also going to be able to join me. I wore my 5 inch stilettos in honor of the movie, big mistake on my part!! So as you may know it rains and rains, and rains here in the Northwest! Well the weather was quite nice on Thursday, but I bought a pair of flats with me since I was driving. Well wouldn't you know it! As soon as Holly and I finished eating it began to rain, or should I say pour rain! Luckily Bridgeport Village provides umbrellas (It is the Northwest after all!) I reluctantly pulled off my Fabulous 5 inch snake skin print stilettos, and put my mom flats on! Off we walked to the theater to see this movie, that many have long awaited! Of course, there was a line inside the theater awaiting the movie. I figured it was a good time to slip out of my mom flats and back into my Fab heels.
Well I thought the Movie was great despite the not so favorable reviews from critics!!! But my feet on the other hand did not fair so well. You know that feeling your feet get after dancing all night in Vegas? Ha, they're still burning right now!

Friendships!

A good girlfriend of mine just moved to Portland, Maine. She has been updating me on her road trip to Maine with her husband and three young children. It really got me thinking about how much I will miss seeing them, and how we built a great friendship in two short years. I'll miss all of the laughs from her three children, our ranting about absolutely nothing, and going on our dinner and shopping evenings. The one thing I will miss the most is seeing how dedicated she is to being an amazing Mom!! She is clearly one the the few women who give me hope on this motherhood journey! I will truly miss the James Family!
